At present, SMD and COB are widely used, each has its own advantages and disadvantages and different application scenarios. SMD is the most common, a variety of sizes to choose from; COB is favored by the market with superior linearity; and the birth of a new light strip CSP, due to more advanced chip packaging technology and lead the industry’s new fashion. CSP’s leading-edge packaging process

COB and CSP used by the traditional packaging technology, the structure is complex, time-consuming and labor-intensive, the production cost is high. Super Flexibility

COB and SMD are generally flexible, and if not operated properly, COB will come off the package, and SMD may break the holder of the lamp beads.

CSP, on the other hand, is safe and reliable because there are no fragile links such as brackets and gold wires, and the lamp beads are protected by drip adhesive. The chip volume is smaller, can do more light and thin, bending force angle is small, with stronger flexibility.
